Macon County currently uses an Internet Map server to publish interactive maps of County GIS information.

Wit this tool, you can access the County's GIS data interactively and quickly over the World Wide Web. By selecting the layer of information that you want to see, you can find a wealth of data linked to maps on your Internet browser. For instance, type in an address or map ID number the service will display a map of the that area with the data you specified. You can turn on and off data layers and the map will be redrawn showing the data for which you asked. We are always updating and adding new data sets.
